The Prime 918 is a three-piece bat with a 100% composite design. Louisville Slugger utilizes a Composite Microform barrel to maximize performance on the Prime 918 at the lightest weight possible.

Louisville Slugger uses TRU3 technology in the Prime 918 to create a three-piece bat with a stronger connection between the barrel and handle. The independent movement between the barrel and handle created by TRU3 Technology dampens the vibrations and provides a unique feel at contact. Not only does the Louisville Slugger Prime 918 feature a lightweight RTX end cap to extend the barrel shape, but also a handle outfitted with Lizard Skin’s premium performance grip to give the hitter a comfortable and effective grip at the plate.
